I became a member at Live Better Health & Fitness when they opened in October 2016 and have been actively involved in the classes since day 1. It's like no gym I have ever been to (and there have been a few!) and it has truly changed my life. I've been able to achieve things in my 40's that I wouldn't have even thought possible in my 20's and I'm excited to see where my fitness journey continues to take me. 

 

When the opportunity to become an owner presented itself, there was no question in my mind that I wanted to lead. Sara has built an amazing community of coaches and members and this strong foundation will continue to grow and change peoples lives for the better.

 

Prior to entering the health and fitness industry, I spent 15 years in a real estate career both selling and as an Owner/Broker. I am also the mother of 4 great kids and happily married to my husband Mike Krueger (Co-Owner of Live Better). This background allows me to speak from real life experience when it comes to building health and fitness into an already busy lifestyle! I am proud to be part of a company that will continue to exceed expectations in the Lethbridge health and fitness industry!

Meet Sean, HEAD COACH/PERSONAL TRAINER

I started my fitness journey after a workplace repetitive use back injury. After some chiropractic treatment and physio, I started doing some typical "gym bro weight training" and noticed an immediate and massive difference in how I felt on a daily basis. Then one day I tried my first barbell back squat and immediately fell in love with weight training. A couple years after that, in 2013, I started getting involved in CrossFit aaaaand now here I am.

With a background in lifeguarding, I have a total of 14 years of experience teaching and coaching swimming lessons, Aquafit, CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. I specialize in assessing and improving movement patterns with a focus on Olympic Weightlifting and Barbell Strength Training. In general, I like to nerd out on "human movement patterns" or any type of new or different movement I haven't tried yet. Oh, and I also specialize in binge eating :)

My favorite thing about coaching is when a person has the realization that they just did, or have the ability to do something they never thought they would be able to do. Playing a part in helping people grow is a really special feeling. In addition to my background in coaching different types of athletes, I have also achieved medals in Olympic weightlifting competitions and pride myself on my ability to coach those skills.
